All things Dove...

I love Dove brand products. All of them. I'm using Dove shampoo and conditioner, Dove mousse, Dove hairspray, Dove face wash, Dove facial moisturizer, Dove body lotion, Dove body wash, and Dove anti-perspirant. I'm Dove all over!

The things I like best about Dove products:

• The scent is mild, very fresh smelling
• They all do exactly what they say they do
• They're inexpensive

It's not an accident that I put scent first - the way stuff smells is very important to me. I don't like flowery or overpowering scents. The Dove things just smell...nice. Clean and fresh.

My hair is fine and has never been dry before in my life, but now that I color it, it gets pretty dry. I use Dove Volumizing Color Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mousse, which say "amplifying color protection for fine, thin color treated hair." It moisturizes my hair and gives me lots of body.

I also use Dove Essential Nutrients Self-Foaming Cleanser in the evenings to take off my makeup. It does a good job of cleaning my face, but my skin doesn't feel tight afterwards. I am all about convenience when it comes to my products, and I would love something that cleaned my face AND took off my mascara in one step. The only negative thing I have to say, and it doesn't just apply to the Dove stuff, is I hate having to use a separate eye make up remover, especially something oily because it makes me see blurry. I wish there was a facial cleanser that removed EVERYTHING in one shot.

Every morning I use the Dove Fresh Radiance Anti-Aging Moisturizer. It's light and not greasy at all, and contains some tiny little sparkly things that make your skin kinda glowy.

The body wash and lotion are good, fresh smelling, gentle products that do what they say. And the anti-perspirant does a good job of keeping my pits non-smelly and dry. I can't STAND anti-perspirants that have a strong smell, especially if it's powdery. Yuck. This stuff is really good, and has very light scent.

I highly recommend ALL of the Dove products. I haven't been disappointed with anything I use. And I also applaud their ad campaign - Dove for real beauty, which uses real women, not models, for their ads. Because real women have dry skin and cellulite and aren't a perfect size 2.
